The Regional Funeral Provider Survey is the result of several months of effort by the FCA board. We have collected General Price Lists (GPL) from across Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte and Desoto counties. The survey information is grouped by county. Providers shaded in grey are SCI & Foundation Partners corporate owned. They advertise as family owned, but be aware, they are high pressure sales professionals managed by a large, national corporation. Providers in red have issues in our opinion. We also provide comments on our experience with each provider; their willingness to provide pricing information and their compliance with the Federal Trade Commission Funeral Rule. The Funeral Rule mandates what information must be disclosed in the GPL. We plan to refresh this survey every 2 years.
